today ive been to marylebone high street, one of london's great streets for pattern fans. starting with a branch of cath kidston, even if you're familiar with her products its well worth a visit to see the cute styling in the store.
st christopher's place links marylebone to oxford street and selfridges and is the home of the marimekko shop - this is the best way to walk to the high street ensuring you see all the good stuff along the way.
a nice pattern seen in the window of the white company another beautiful store in the street.
a couple of other highlights are the conran shop, skandium, cologne & cotton, and bridgewater.
Love love love this shop tour. I'll have to link over to this from my blog!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, did you see these? Oh my god, I'm drooling for a beetle decal!!

For ages I've been trying to remember the name of a loving store I visited once in Brighton, and reading your post the name Cotton & Cologne jumped out at me - that was definitely it so thank you for solving this for me! It's a really lovely shop and I'll be popping into the Marylebone branch soon!
ReplyDeletehi holly, your support of my blog has been amazing - thanks so much, i dont think many people would've found me if it wasnt for you.
ReplyDeletei love the mibo graphics you've posted today - i'd like to see more patterned cars in the future.
joanna i can see why you'd like cologne & cotton, from your blog i know you're into the vintage kind of look. i used to live in brighton - i loved all the independent stores and lanes.
Love the shop introduction, they are pefect for your blog. Patterns everywhere!
ReplyDeleteIf I had known you were in the area, you could've popped in to see us at Vitsœ. We won't have them for much longer, but our murals are a must see. Come and say hi, next time you are in the area.
