the isak design brand continues to go from strength to strength with more products added and the print designs are more stunning than ever. top drawer saw the trade launch of the new autumn collection where the cool greens and blues of summer were replaced with dashes of hot orange and pink. i just love the bird design at the top of the post, we're all used to bird motifs but these look so fresh. sandra isaksson has created beautiful trays, bags, bedlinen, and more, and the new lines should be in shops soon. click here to see the isak website with the current range, or for the very latest news check sandra's blog.

drusilla cole, author of the brilliant book 'patterns' is about to release her new title called 'textiles now'. although the focus of the book is mainly three dimensional 'constructed or stitched' textiles, there is a small section on printed textiles which would be of interest to us as pattern fans. for example i love the striking cover by ilkka timonen from his pattern 'black tree'. see 'textiles now' on amazon uk where it is released today, or amazon usa where it will be released on october 8th. published by laurence king.

when i first read about danielle thompson i was amazed at how many talents she has, designing, crafting, and fantastic photography. and now danielle has launched a new range of digital scrapbooking kits "kitschy digitals". available online as downloadable files they're designed for those who just want to print them out and use them, and those who want to go further and manipulate the images on their computer first. besides kitschy digitals danielle has an etsy shop called 'tiny bazaar' which sells the cutest little little things, and you can see lots of danielle's stunning photography on her blog thompson family life. so much talent !
