this is the wonderful work of london based designer justine ellis. justine creates screen printed cushions, tote bags, cards, tea towels and more for her etsy and folksy shops as well as numeous craft markets. i love her cable knit patterns and the lovely textures on the birds below .

i recieved a lovely set of printsource flyers from several different designers who will all be represented by pink light design at next months show in new york.

DESIGNER - lise marie chaudot

lise marie chaudot is a french freelance textile/surface designer who has just started to blog her designs and projects at dans ma valise (in my suitcase).

WALL ART - some prints

i love the colour palette and strong shapes of this print called 'boxy music' by graphic nothing as seen at some prints.

WALL ART - steph baxter

steph baxter is a freelance illustrator from leeds who creates prints under the title 'steph says hello'. steph is available for work/commissions and has an etsy shop where you can view her art and is one of the artists featured at some prints.

XMAS 2010 - paperchase : the art file

a few last minute christmas snapshots to end the season. these colourful cards from uk publisher 'the art file' were spotted in paperchase.

BAGS - amy butler

amy butler has released a new collection of fashion and travel bags using her distinctive fabric prints. you can see the whole series online and beautifully photographed here.

WALLPAPER - mini moderns

mini moderns are about to launch a new collection in 2011 - 'festival' wallpaper which celebrates the enduring influence of the 1951 festival of britain. the exciting post-war exhibition of the new wave of modern british design will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2011 and the wallpaper will be launched to coincide with this important cultural landmark. mini moderns creative directors keith stephenson and mark hampshire have been collecting "festival of britain" memorabilia for over 20 years so for them its a real labour of love. "festival" is available in 3 colourways, concrete & mustard, bunting blue & red and stone & harvest orange.

designer galia bernstein is very genoursly giving away loads of her 'cardmix' christmas cards on her blog. do check them out here as they are beautiful and could all be yours.

DESIGNER - belen gomez

designer belen gomez studied ceramics at camberwell school of art and crafts and ran her own ceramic studio for ten years. recently she fulfilled an ambition to work with the amazing potteries at stoke on trent and to decorate staffordshire china. these rustic designs are her first collection, and were inspired by belen's pen drawings influenced by her allotment and country walks. cards are also available and all can be seen online here.

fab designer lucy joy oldfield will be exhibiting a new portfolio of work at printsource next month with her agent mary beth on the pink light design booth. her work is fresh modern and colourful and a must-see if you are attending the show. lucy is looking for freelance commissions so if you are interested you find can out more about her online here.
