STUDENT COURSE WORK - part 2

DESIGNER - lara harwood

lara harwood is a designer, illustrator, and artist based in london where she has worked on a variety of projects from packaging, editorial, branding and even postage stamps. lara's illustration projects are mostly in watercolor and to get a sense of movement she often paints them at a much larger scale than is eventually needed. she also has her own print making practice is an accomplished silk-screen printer. you can see more of lara's work online here.

TEXTILES - madmoiselle dimanche

these are a selection of the recent arrivals at french company madmoiselle dimanche (miss sunday). designs include a new print called 'peacock' (below) and lovely printed tote bags. all as seen online here.

WALLPAPER - missprint

this is a sneak preview of the new 'mountains' wallpaper coming soon by missprint. part of their new collection it was launched last week at maison objet in paris. the design is inspired by the spectacular landscape of dramatic snow capped peaks of great britain, set against the skyline, and incorporates the mark making to be found in ordnance survey maps.

NEW SEASON - ecojot

ecojot are currently showcasing their entire new spring 2012 ecojot collection at the new york international gift fair, at the javits center. especially exciting is a brand new baby collection which includes gift wrap, shower and notecards, babybooks, growth charts and wall prints. (these are already available now at ecojot online). there is also a new bag line which includes ipad holders, e-reader cases, totes, cosmetic and coin purses. find ecojot in booth #4134 if you are attending the show which runs from jan 28th to feb 2nd.

STUDIO - jolio design

jodi broglio exhibited her designs at surtex in new york for the first time last may and she is now very excited to announce 5 new licensing partnerships have been signed as a result of her hard work, and late nights. in her new jersey studio 'brolio design' jodi has begun to work on multiple lines with new partners including papyrus, primary colors, and gina b. designs. primarily in the paper goods category, projects include boxed notes, social stationery, journals, and gift items.
