WALLPAPER - albany
i was looking at a bestseller list for wallpaper direct recently and noticed this interesting floral design was at number two. 'daphne' is from the brewers own brand of albany wallpapers, and it was followed at number three by sanderson's "dandelion clocks" suggesting that mid century modern inspired designs are proving popular with customers.
STATIONERY - mac and ninny
the mac and ninny paper co is a new business here in the UK who launched their first product range at top drawer in january. they have designed a range of 64 self adhesive bookplates, with a variety of subject matter from gardening to cooking, from travel to knitting. mac and ninny have also used their love of paper to develop a range of preserve gift kits to help people turn their homemade preserves into beautiful gifts. look out for them in shops soon or go online here.
TEA TOWELS - janet bell
janet bell is an artist with her own gallery in beaumaris anglesey. janet mostly paints her local area of north wales but also sells her work in several galleries in devon and cornwall and so she created this cornish design called 'polperro'. janet originally studied textiles but has been painting for exhibitions and galleries for the last 10 years. polperro is currently available on tea towels and canvas bags.

NEW COLLECTIONS - harlequin

DESIGNER - sarah fiorenza
sarah fiorenza has been concentrating on designing fun patterns for children recently, and i loved how colourful her designs looked when she had them sampled up onto fabric. besides her surface design sarah has also written a book which will be published by ryland peters and small on the 8th march called 'jewellery crafting with kids'.
CARDS - pennychoo
these of some of latest fabulous designs from pennychoo cards which were launched last month at the top drawer show. pennychoo is the work of london based designer sue lee, whose inspiration has been from atomic designs, the 1940's, art deco, and romany folk florals. see many more ranges from pennychoo online here.
