NEW WORK - mel smith
freelance designer mel smith sent me some examples of her latest design work. mel has been busy creating designs for her etsy & folksy shops, society 6, and wallpapered. she also recently completed the design course 'the art & business of surface pattern design' and is keen to take on more commissions, so if you like the look of mel's designs find her online here.
VINTAGE - cushions

GRADUATE - louisa heyworth
louisa heyworth graduated in june with a BA hons textile design degree from the university of leeds. louisa creates digital prints for fashion but feels her designs are very flexible and could be used for almost anything. she hand illustrates all of her motifs with ink or fine liner to maintain her loose style, and loves colour which is a main focus in her work. louisa exhibited at new designers in london this summer and hopes to start an internship at larolina york in sydney this month. see more from louisa here.
FABRICS - cheyanne sammons
cheyanne sammons has been a textile designer in the fashion industry for over 6 years, but has now decided to venture out on her own. cheyanne loves quirky vintage prints and interesting color combinations. she has also started selling some of her designs on spoonflower and you can see her shop online here.
FABRICS - greta songe
designer greta songe has teamed up with marcus fabrics. these designs are a part of their recently launched studio 37 fabric collection for modern quilting. marcus fabrics have been typically a company known for their reproduction fabrics. so, this more modern take is a newer venture that greta is thrilled to be a part of.

E-COURSE - graduate designs
