P&P ANNUAL SUMMER BREAK : back sept 14th

Thanks so much to everyone for reading the Print & Pattern blog during this the most unusual Spring/Summer we've ever known. I'll be away for a few weeks from today but will be back with lots more lovely design on September 14th as we go into the new Autumn season. NEW FABRICS - rachael taylor

Yesterday we featured the new online design course from Rachael Taylor. Rachael puts in a huge amount of effort into Make it in Design sharing her knowledge and building communities for designers. So I thought it would be lovely to make my last P&P post before the Summer break about her latest design news. Last week it was announced that many of the Rachael Taylor's Studio prints are now available on fabric in their Fashion Formula shop.
They were so thrilled to get them launched as they have had so many enquiries come into the studio on where to buy Rachael's gorgeous designs. The fabrics can be used for upholstery craft or furnishings projects, clothing, face masks and more.

VIRTUAL SHOW - selvedge : the fabric of your life

The first Selvedge World Fair , created by independent magazine Selvedge, takes place online, 3 – 5 September 2020. The three-day virtual event, a celebration of cloth, culture and creativity, will present the work of 100 artisans, bringing together varied - and in some cases endangered - textile traditions from 60 countries. It is the only event on the arts calendar dedicated to championing the skills of textile makers. Visitors will be able to buy handmade fabric, fashion and homewares from across the globe, take part in online workshops from master craftspeople, join international talks and be together as a community for a live quiz. STATIONERY - back to school tesco
