I am back with Sainsbury's again today looking at their Christmas 2020 designs. After yesterdays wild and bright colours this selection is much for more subtle, but they all have a lovely painterly quality with emphasis very much on hand drawn images and type. Available in stores now.
Apologies for the lack of Print & Pattern these last few days, I was suddenly struck down with a cold virus. So to get back to work today I am posting something super colourful and cheery. 'Rhapsody' is one of this years Christmas trend themes at Sainsbury's. Bold, neon and fun their theme has tiger stripes and leopard spots but with the colours of Mexican party vibes. Inspired by piñatas, bold leopard prints, colour, and one design central to the whole collection : Tigers! In Sainsbury's stores on online now.
I've seen lots of lovely patterned masks over the last few months, but these designs from Kapitza really make a bold, artistic statement. Handmade in London and reusable they'd be great for a special occasion when you need to look creative. Spotted in their online shop here.
