if you are asked to design a calendar there is much to think about, not just the 12 monthly images but equally important are the number layouts. you can really get creative with these too.above are some tree designs on calendars seen at penguin.

Can you get Penguin calendars on an english language website or anywhere in the uk? I know that isn't really the aim of your site but I fell in love with calendar and thought I'd ask anyway. Your site by the way is amazing!!!!
