BRIDGEWATER - spongeware

this week im looking at the work of bridgewater pottery. emma bridgewater is a real design hero of mine and i admire her work enormously. i love how she has made a huge success out of patterns and developed products that make people happy. emma's work is also produced here in the UK in a traditional stoke-on-trent pottery providing much needed jobs when many companies have to switch to far eastern production. so over the next couple of days i'll be posting about bridgewater products, the new book, a visit to the fulham shop, and an afternoon spent painting bridgewater pottery. so starting us off are a selection of bridgewater's cheery design ranges.
