VINTAGE TEXTILES

if you're interested in british textiles from the 40's to the 60's you may want to check out 'designing britain' - which is where i found this photograph of lucienne day's original tea towels. below a striking design by terence conran, and at the bottom a linear pattern by neville walters. both for david whitehead fabrics.

    The teatowels are £16, which is steep for a teatowel but doesn't sound so dear if you think about framing it as a print!
    Those Converse shoes made with her prints are available again too.
