an illustrator we looked at on wednesday, john coulter, introduced me to the lilla rogers agency, who had some more terrific illustrators on their books. you may already be familiar with lisa dejohn, a painter, designer and mixed media artist. she has created some amazing patterns for use in surface designs, and i really love her bird illustrations.
love lisa's work! the texture in the illustrations is such a nice touch. also her patterns are somehow super cute and sophisticated all at once.
