there are new spring lines appearing in cath kidston - items online include picnicware and paper napkins, plus a new range of laundry products in lovely packaging. there are even dusters printed with roses! . i love folk style at the moment so the print above really appeals to me just now, and i couldnt resist buying all the new wrapping paper designs when i was in the store this week.
Those colors are nice, but I have to be honest, the roses are a little grandma-ish.
ReplyDeletethats cath's style - its vintage british.

I love CK, and I order from them about twice a month for work- so heres a little heads up -I have had seven fabric orders arrive over 4 weeks late- one 8 weeks late- so ALWAYS ring and check stock first, great fabric though!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the commenter who said that they are extremely old fashioned. There are much better ways to do traditional English design. The magazine Selvedge usually has any number of good examples in every issue.
ReplyDeleteI love cath kidston's old fashioned charm.
ReplyDeletehey Bowie!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently in London for a couple of weeks and the Cath Kidson shop is definitely on my list of places to visit (even tho I'm not THAT into florals, but still!). Anyway given you are the queen of all things Print and Pattern related, I'd LOVE any suggestions you might have of places for me to visit whilst here. Anything you think would be inspiring really!!
I just got in from a day at the V&A and came to the conclusion that I'm not much of a museum girl... I like more modern day stuff that I can really relate to.
Anyway, I do go on. my email is lara[at]laracameron[cot]com if you have a chance to drop me a line!
