ReplyDeleteDon't forget to go to The Strand for books. They boast 18 miles of shelves and I believe them!
And there's a great book store in Brooklyn called Spoonbill and Sugartown. located on Bedford. They specialize in both new and books for all design disciplines, and I spent a small fortune there.
I'm a first time commenter, and I love your website. So much inspiration!
definitely venture out to brooklyn while you're here, there are so many independent stores there with tons of amazing designers. i'll even second spoonbill and sugartown on bedford st, which has tons of great zines and art books. grab a coffee from El Beit (between 8th and 9th on bedford) before you browse the rest of the block. have fun can't wait to re-discover my city through your eyes!
