GRADUATE - jessica hogarth

today we have works from another two designers about to graduate from leeds college of art with a BA (Hons) in printed textiles and surface pattern design. first up its jessica hogarth whose final collection of work entitled la vie parisienne (a parisian life) has been designed with the intention of it being suitable for the interior market. jessica says of her designs "whilst I wanted my work to exude some of the qualities that defines paris as a city, i aimed for it to have more depth and be personal to my feelings and experiences of the place. a visit undertaken to the city purely to research has allowed me to develop a highly personal body of work". jessica is keen to pursue a career as a designer within the textile industry and she has been keeping a blog and is busy building her website. you can also see jessica at new designers part one from the 1st to the 4th July in london.
