trudy willoughby set up 'buttongirl designs' roughly 3 years ago after freelancing for a women's wear studio in south london. she had always loved greeting cards and thought it was about time to had a go herself! trudy creates all her designs by hand as she loves embroidery and applique. she collects numerous trinkets, ribbons, buttons and fabrics from markets and charity shops to try and make her work that bit more different and express her style in a unique way. you can find button girl's website online here and also at not on the high street.
