BOOK - pattern by orla kiely

what a great way to return to blogging than with a stunning new pattern book. as soon as i knew orla was releasing a book i just knew it was going to be good - but i didnt know it would be this good ! 'pattern' by orla kiely is a large and beautiful hard backed book featuring 304 pages of fabulous design. orla's prints are given a full page each, and there are many designs from moodboards which i have never seen before. as well as the joy of seeing the prints in large glorious technicolour there is the thrill of seeing orla's own home and design studio, and details like her bookshelves and inspiration boards. i cannot recommend this book strongly enough - great images and lots to read too i cant wait to get stuck in.
