TOP DRAWER - snapshots

today i have a few more snapshots taken at top drawer earlier in the week. starting with these original designs from random retail. joy jollif creates hand pulled screenprinted designs inspired by "vintage and contemporary texts". the designs are printed onto natural fabrics and made into cushions, tote bags and posters. see more about random retail here. the show took place at london olympia and featured a trend display inside the main entrance. the theme was very much london, british, and vintage. as london gears up for the 2012 olympics designers and shops look to create the perfect souvenir gifts. my snapshots of the display start with the iconic red routmaster bus used as the main motif on this great new range from jam tart.
also part of the london/british theme were these designs from people will always need plates. as a stylish souvenir these would be hard to beat. formation collection have put together a catalogue of london trays, tea towels, and dishcloths using the stunning designs of maria holmer dahlgren.
