more pictures today from the laura ashley spring summer 2012 collections which were previewed at a press last week in london. the first design collection today is a beautiful blue range with a hint of art deco called 'twilight tones'. centre to this collection is a stunning twisted stripe design called 'serpentine' (above) which featured on wallpaper, curtain fabric, and a lampshade at the show. the motif also featured on the front of the press catalogue given to journalists in metallic silver on midnight blue. i am so happy to see blue back in fashion again. the other main print in the series was 'curzon' a spirally design on wallpaper, fabric, and bedlinen.
Nice design for the press catalogue, die cuts and foil cleverly used.
