IN MY INBOX........

its been ages since i have done an inbox post where i group together a selection of images that arrived via email. this one kicks off with news i recieved of an online print shop called artistic.ly where i picked out two prints. above is 'lets read' by spencer wilson and below 'neighbourhood' by georgia perry.
below : new prints from anorak featuring binoculars and canoes. the 'ramblers collection' for spring 2012 features on picnic blankets, cushions, and picnicware.
below : jonathan smith designed and created this beautiful retro ceramic owl salt & pepper set. jonathan was inspired by the owls that were made at hornsea pottery designed by john clappison who jonathan worked with whilst at hornsea. after many tests and experiments jonathan succeeded in producing a wonderful semi matt rustic glaze in green and a mustard yellow and the eyes are all hand decorated with small slip trailed dots. available here on folksy.below : new lotta jandotter washi tapes have just been launched. i loved the eyecatching way the japanese masking tapes had been photographed for the newsletter.below : illustrator jane dixon sent me details for primitiva, her latest collection of 100% cotton prints,out now in stores, through andover fabrics. below : quirky and unusual characters on melamine and paper goods by sandra monat a designer from germany for her brand herzensart. below : designs from kayleigh sarah moore graduated last year from a Ba Hons textile design, (Specialising in printed textiles) at de montfort university in leicester. kayleigh is currently a freelance designer for camden graphics, and she has also worked on t-shirt graphics for H! by henry holland at debenhams. she doesnt yet have a website but can be contacted at kayleighsarahmoore@googlemail.com below : unique cushions from etsy shop rita and jam. jam is a graphic designer and his partner rita is from a textile background. their goal was to combine these two fields together. find them here on etsy.below : stylish floral cushion from josie jones. josie is currently working as a design consultant for soft furnishings but wanted to get back into her textile designing so she started to produce her own range of cushion designs and is very interested in home furnishing freelance opportunities.below : lampshades from brazil based designer julia fraia. the patterns are from her collection inspired by portuguese tiles which were applied to pillows, mugs and lamps made bottles.
