DESIGNER - teresa kirk

teresa kirk is just starting out as a freelance surface pattern designer/illustrator. she set up her studio label 'handmade by monkeys' in 2012 named after the fact much of her work is handmade and inspired by the natural world. teresa will be creating fresh, fun, printed textiles for the home interiors market and will be selling her work online and exhibiting at fairs in london over the summer. her works begin as intricate illustrations that are transformed into patterns and designs using handcut paper techniques and collage. the final design is the handprinted by teresa in her london studio onto tea towels, lampshades, cushions and more.
