kata kata is another Japanese label I discovered through through the tegamisha online shop. its the work of two textile designers takeshi matsunaga and chie takai, who use a japanese traditional dyeing technique called katazome to create their textile products. this technique uses glue paste applied through a stencil to to resist inks. you can find more of kata kata's works online here.
