DESIGNER - joanne paynter

Joanne Paynter is a San Diego based Surface Pattern Designer with a background in both Fashion and Graphic Design.  Joanne studied Fashion Design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), and had 10 years experience in the industry designing everything from apparel and handbags to textile patterns before she recently left her job to follow here dream of being a freelance designer. Working from her home based studio, Joanne draws on inspiration from her travels and nature to design prints and illustrations for a broad range of surfaces including textiles, homewares, printed paper products, and more.
