DESIGNERS - studio kelkka

Studio Kelkka are a Finnish print & surface design group who will be exhibiting at PrintSource in New York for the first time tomorrow. Their  Scandinavian fresh, beautiful and fun designs have spread all around the world through numerous international companies such as Ikea. For their first appearance in NYC they will present a new collection that "Springs from the strong presence of Nordic nature: modified motifs from nature, sensitive line sketches, rough and strong drawings and luscious textures". They will also have a new kids collection which they say is a good example of how Studio Kelkka's team of ten designers co-orperate as a group working together, sharing ideas and combining strengths has produced collection that brings alive the best and the funniest childhood memories.
