DESIGNER - applemint designs

Jess Williams trained as a graphic designer and has worked in a variety of creative roles, most recently as a stationery designer. Feeling in need of a change, Jess enrolled on the Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design course and earlier this year she took the plunge and went freelance by setting up Applemint Designs. Jess has been building up her business ever since, including a shop at NOTHS, and hopes to of make a successful career in pattern design and illustration. Jess works with a variety of media and creates many elements of her designs by hand before manipulating them digitally. She loves colour and typography and is inspired by everything from her collection of old children’s books to the changing seasons and the countryside around her home.. Jess would love to design her own fabric range and would enjoy seeing her work on stationery, cards, gift wrap and paper goods of any kind and so is interested in any opportunities.
