DESIGNERS - les miniatures

Les Miniatures is the studio of two Paris based sisters Émilie and Virginie. The English mother Toots inspired them with memories of Liberty prints and antique textiles which gave them an eye for the decorative and a love cross stitch. Their challenge was to take this art form and update it with contemporary designs and colours. A lot of the stitching is done by mum Toots and their designs have now been licensed by French company Atomic Soda to appear (trompe l'oeil style) on a wide range of products such as purses, boxes, and notebooks.
