DESIGNERS - birds words

Birds Words is the studio of design director Masao Tomioka and ceramic artist Toshi Ito. Based in Osaka, Japan and founded in 2009 as the name suggests they mainly focus on bird designs and motifs, although florals are a favourite too. Their beautiful designs and elegant colours feature on a range ceramic items as well as paper products and textiles. Birds Words have a bricks and mortar store in Osaka as well an online store, but currently they don't ship outside Japan. We can  however enjoy their beautiful designs for our Friday eye candy feature.
