XMAS 2017 - claire picard

With a background in fashion and textiles, Claire Picard's illustrations are inspired by a love for florals, for decoration and for femininity. Claire uses paper-cutting techniques and collage, with hand-drawn linework or watercolour. Having lived and worked in Paris for many years as a fashion designer and illustrator, and then as a print artist, she has worked internationally in the greetings card, stationary and home décor markets. Now based in the south of England, she works out of her Hampshire based studio, and has an exclusive greetings card collection with British card company Cinnamon Aitch, due to be launched in January. These Christmas designs are inspired by beautiful quintessentially English textile traditions, in a modern Christmas colour palette....
