Today we can have a look at the latest illustrated book by Marcus Walters for Tate Galleries. Following on from his AOI Shortlisted work for the Tate Kids website Marcus was pleased to launch his new activity book for Tate Publishing. Called "Colours and Shapes" it's jam-packed with puzzles, games and colouring to help inspire creativity. It comes with great stickers to complete the activities and engage young children with colours and shapes . With bold and colourful illustrations, this an ideal book to stimulate learning whilst having fun at the same time. Marcus has also designed an exclusive range of organic clothing and accessories in tandem with his new activity book. He has taken artwork including his cheeky face motifs and energetic surface patterns to create range of organic clothing, bags, pencil cases. The optimistic statements aim to encourage all kids to create and were inspired by Marcus' own daughter's response when being asked if she wanted to be an artist : “I’m already an artist”. The book and clothing range are available now in Tate Gallery shops and at the Tate Shop online. Find it also on Amazon UK and Amazon USA.
