Amanda Brady, the designer behind Green Hound Press, will showing at Blue Print this month. This is her first time showing at Blue Print and only her second show ever! (Amanda showed at Surtex last year). Amanda is a freelance designer and illustrator living in Northern Colorado. After attending college for graphic design she discovered her love for creating patterns. At first just for a hobby, but then took the leap last year and signed up for Surtex. Her graphic design background made her appreciate bold, vector graphics. Amanda loves playing with the combination of vectors, texture and hand-drawn elements. Inspired heavily by her two children, many of these patterns were inspired by the daily lunch box drawing she creates for them. So of course there will be sharks, yaks, maybe a yeti or two as well. Amanda says her son is a very strict art director. She will be in New York May 20-23 in Shop Studio, booth #40. Find her online here at Green Hound Press and on Instagram.
