Shiny But Real is a Brooklyn based studio run by Annita Soble. Annita has over 15 years of professional experience in illustration, design and animation and is excited to be entering the world of surface design. This is her first year exhibiting at Blue Print. What does -Shiny But Real- mean? Well, Annita has always found it personally necessary to peer behind the look or initial SHINE of something to discover it's inherent value. More than just: "Don't judge a book by it's cover", she believes that objects are made more beautiful via the real stories behind them as well as the stories and connections that they initiate. Annita will be presenting patterns, greeting cards and poster art. And if you ask, she's likely to have a back story for you too. Come visit Shiny But Real at Shop Studio booth #13.
