For the next few days I will be focusing on Paperchase. I visited the store whilst on my Summer break and took plenty of snapshots for P&P. I'm starting with a selection of greetings cards from in the shop and online, and begin with lovely cards by Belly Button Designs. You can see from the Belly Button Llama above that cards many are now being sold without cellophane bags. There has been a lot of debate in the industry about this issue during 2019. Everyone wants to cut down on single use plastic, but publishers and retailers are obviously concerned about finger marks, fading, damage to cards etc. But my recent trip to Paperchase found it is really catching on (pics at the bottom of post). We finish today with some shots of those 'Naked Cards' from Paperchase who have themselves supported the idea of no cellophane packaging on cards.
