DESIGNER FOR HIRE - kim hinds

P&P has a new entry in the Designers for Hire Directory today. Kim Hinds is a freelance designer and illustrator based in Brixham, Devon. She has lots of industry experience having worked in-house at Next for four years, and designing for clients such as Asda, Kam International and Dunelm. Kim loves creating  tropical prints and whimsical and cute characters, particularly animals. She likes to put texture in her designs rather than really flat colour and likes things to look hand painted. Especially the spontaneity of watercolour with the wonderful blends and stained edges that it creates. Kim has designed quilting fabrics, greetings cards, and illustrated over ten books through agents such as London Portfolio and the Bright Group.
