Here are some interesting designs that landed in my inbox last week. Artist Chris Dixon has created an Etsy shop called Dropshadowed selling greetings cards and art prints. Chris became interested in traditional and contemporary Japanese patterns whilst working on a project involving origami papers. Their use of pattern really captured his imagination and Chris wanted to create his own take on them. During downtime in the various lockdowns Chris started making his own patterns, combined a few together and went on from there. This year he decided to take the plunge and get some designs printed up including message art prints and Valentine's cards. More recent additions are weather themed cards and a series of blackbird art prints filled with pattern. Everything is printed on recycled paper by the print firm down the road.
