Print & Pattern is back from Spring break and one of the places I visited whilst away was Ikea. They had new limited edition collections on display and one was eye catching for it's unusual colour palette and Bauhaus style geometrics. "Tesammans" was created by Dutch design duo Raw Color, an Eindhoven based studio consisting of Daniera ter Haar and Christoph Brach. The collection is designed to highlight how colour can transform everyday objects, and to inspire more people to discover its positive emotional effects. This bold collaboration has resulted in an affordable collection of 18 pieces ranging from furniture to textiles and decorations. Each piece focuses on an unexpected yet harmonious palette to give us surprising colour combinations and playful patterns. 'Tesammans' which incidentally means 'together' or 'in company' in English launched in April and is in all Ikea stores now or online.
