emma king is a graphic design graduate, who as part of her final year project at sheffield hallam university began to explore and develop a series of patterns created using letters of the alphabet. emma created 144 final typographic patterns from a series of 6 very different typefaces, using uppercase letters from A-Z. as well as the plain black and white vector patterns emma also started to add colour to the patterns, printed them on fabric and experimented with other ways of rendering them such as lasercutting and embossing.
