We have some beautiful work on the blog today from Spanish artist Sabina Alcaraz. Sabina is a freelance designers specialising in packaging design and prints. She studied design and illustration and fine arts in Valencia, Spain, and Venice, Italy, Besides here freelance work, where Sabina would to hear about commissions or collaboration, Sabina also works as a design teacher at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Annie Chen of design studio Lemonni is heading to France for the Playtime Paris show, which runs from June 30th to July 2nd at Parc Floral de Paris, l'espace Evénements. Lemonni will be exhibiting in the "Crea.tif" space, which only has 12 illustrators/designers. Annie will be at Table 3 to showcase her work for both licensing and sale.
I have been into Mothercare to have a look at their latest Summer arrivals and here are a few examples of what I have found....
Jeanne McGee is a printmaker living in Minneapolis, MN and who loves to carve and print small stamps. Jeanne then uses her stamps to print delicate patterns onto reclaimed wood, paper and fabric. Her patterns are inspired by nature and she works from a studio overlooking a beautiful park. Jeanne studied print making first in her home town of San Francisco and then went on to an MFA at the University of Wisconsin. You can find her artwork, tea towels, cards etc in her Etsy shop here and lots more of her gorgeous work on instagram.
