KIDS DESIGN - villa nova

What a treat to look at some cheery children's prints on wallpapers and fabrics from Villa Nova. The collection is called 'Picturebook II' and sees Villa Nova once again working with children's book illustrators - including the brilliant Christopher Corr. The brief was to capture the joy of illustrated books through a range of playful fabrics and wallpaper designed for children’s interiors with creatures and far-away places.

DESIGNER - veronique villalet

Inspired by yesterday's post on Pierre Frey I was intrigued to see more from French designer Veronique Villalet. I had a lovely time browsing her Instagram page. It's features a fantastic selection of works that experiment with colour and motifs. Veronique is a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Nîmes, she worked in London, before moving to Paris where she began a collaborating as a stylist with several decoration magazines including Paris Match and Marie-Claire.
