MAISON OBJET PARIS - new kid club

The designer trade fair Maison Objet opens today in Paris and one exhibitor will be the New Kid Club. This UK based, all female collective is made up of Print Designers and Illustrators  Carly Gledhill, Ellie Hyde and Nina Ghataora. All have worked for the top UK print studios but joined together to create a fabulous portfolio of trend-led and imaginative prints and graphics for kids. Their artwork is filled with fun, bold characters and subtle narrative, suitable for fashion, homeware and everything in between.

BRANDING - paris 2024

Apologies for anyone visiting last week for a dose of design inspo. I was suddenly struck down by a virus without having time to plan anything. But I am back today and looking at the colours and shapes of the Paris 2024 Olympics. The main logo (ladies face in a flame) was designed by Mathieu Lehanneur, but all the graphics and branding were created by Conran Design Group and inspired by the Parisian architecture.

PLAYTIME PARIS 2024 - Verity Lowry

Verity Lowry is excited to announce that she will be showing her new designs at Playtime Paris this month (29th June - 1st July). If you are looking for new pattern designs for AW25, her playful, narrative prints will bring your collection to life. Verity specialises in designing for childrenswear and draws on inspiration from the carefree way children themselves draw. LATEST DESIGNS - mini labo

I came across a series of 'Peace' postcards from Paris based company Mini Labo and thought they would make a great showcase for today's post. Founded by designer Celine Heno and Caroline Diaz Mini Labo have a beautiful range of products that have expanded over the years.
