BeeMine Designs is artist Kris Schwenck, and she is excited to be exhibiting at Surtex to show her work for the first time. Kris is a surface designer and illustrator with a whimsical style, quirky edge and use bold, bright colors. Her stylized work

gives off a joyful vibe to viewers and works well on gift wrap, greeting cards, fabric, stationery and kids' wear. SURTEX / BLUE PRINT - may 2023

Show season is nearly here and two major shows will be taking place this May. The first point to make is that Surtex is back in the form of an actual in-person show for the first time since Covid. In just over three weeks time from 9th - 10th of May artists and buyers from around the world will be arriving in New York City in their new venue at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea.

A different type of event is also taking place from 2nd - 4th May as the fabulous Blue Print show will be happening online again. Designers will have virtual booths to display their designs and art directors and buyers can browse portfolios and talk to artists and buyers.

Shannon specialises in spirited, colourful patterns and hand lettering for gift wrap, home decor, fabric, stationery, and crafting.
