DESIGNER - ellie whittaker

Ellie Whittaker is a fabric designer living in Australia and represented by Nerida Hansen. Both independently and through Nerida Ellie has sold designs to Target Australia, Goosebumps Boutique, Spotlight, Cotton On Kids and worked for over 80 small businesses. Ellie loves working with clients to create the perfect fabric for their needs. She prides herself on bold, whimsical designs and finds herself incorporating Aussie motifs such as Vegemite and Bubble O Bill ice creams. Australians appear to be smitten with her designs, which have been featured in a Fairfax news publication and Frankie magazine online. Ellie has also received regular commissions from the Australian independent fashion community who strive to keep the design process local. She was recently asked to do a TedX Salon talk on 'crafting a living' as well as an Australian children's picture book to be released in 2019.
