fab card company lov-li have recently launch a further 6 greeting cards to add to their existing range. they were designed for lov-li by amy underhill - who they found through print and pattern. i first saw amy's work at the 'new designers' graduate show and fell in love with it, i also felt i could see huge commercial potential in her style too. well done to lov-li, who already have an amazing card collection, for adding amy to the mix.
you can buy amy underhill's lov-li cards, and lots of other cool designs as well online at minor mail. this uk based card shop also has cards by darling clementine, and olive and moss.
last week i recieved the most fantastic package of goodies from anna butler at custom made. this great little online store sells a selection of handmade items using cute japanese fabrics. above is a cushion that uses the sweetest decole print ever seen, and the mushroom purse comes with a cute smiling tv badge attached. other items include a large floral tote, gnome brooch, and vintage rose jewellery. i was really impressed by the quality of anna's sewing and loved all the proffessional looking tags, labels, and cards.

well today really is the final day of posting about new york. over the last two weeks ive been posting pictures taken in the stores of manhattan, and over the last two days some of the purchases i made there. next week normal service will be resumed, but its a bank holiday here in the UK on monday so hopefully you'll join me back here on tuesday. this great pattern is from an expanding file tote that i purchased in crane & co. more details on these next week.
finally i wanted to share with you these motifs from two minimarks packs i bought in kate's paperie. made by american crafts these rub-on packs cost $8.75 and come with a special tool to apply the rub-ons to anything you fancy decorating. this post features a spring themed pack.
this was the second set of american craft's 'mini marks' that i bought in kate's paperie, nyc. this set is called 'accents book one'.
today im posting pictures of some of the things i purchased on my holiday in nyc. starting with urban outfitters; these great notebooks available in a wide variety of designs were a great deal at 2 for $10. the website sadly doesnt show the designs that were instore.
i was really thrilled to get this bird artwork by xenia taler, as i had blogged about her work recently, priced at $20 from urban outfitters. i also picked up the cat design canvas by fawn gehweiler in the sale at a super bargain price.
top bedlinen brand 'dwell' were having an overstock sale in new york whilst i was there so i popped in for a quick look.
