BOOK - make! by cath kidston

if you're still looking for a last minute christmas gift for a designer or crafter then about the latest book from cath kidston called 'make !'. this fabulous book full of projects to inspire you even comes with a free cotton tote bag tucked inside the cover (with a cath kidston label on the front) and a skeen of red embroidery thread. even if you never attempt any of the projects this book is a great reference for cath kidston' designs and motifs which are shown in all their glorious colour and detail.

SHOP - white elephant vintage

hollie and jane of former etsy shop white elephant vintage have opened a bricks and mortar store in hamilton, ontario, canada. the shop is a combination of vintage goods, plus gifts, accessories, paper goods, plus jewelry made my local artists and lots of etsy sellers. if you were a fan of their etsy shop its worth knowing that they have now moved their online shopping to a new site here.

XMAS DESIGN - pop ink

time is running out for posting christmas designs as the holiday season approaches, so today im looking at pop ink's seasonal designs. ive featured pop ink quite a few times here on print & pattern, besides their fab range of products they also have an image library, and are the creators of books such as 'happy kitty bunny pony'.

KIDS DESIGN - babystar

babystar is a portland, oregon-based baby apparel and accessories company that creates adorable products for the design-savvy parent. these patterns are previews from their new spring 2009 prints, which will be on blankets, onesies, babydoll tops, and more.

FABRICS - stof enzo

hydi hoost created these two fabric patterns for her shop stof enzo, a netherlands based webshop where she sells vintage fabrics, lace & ribbon, bedlinen for kids and more.

ORLA KIELY - projects

i just thought i'd highlight a few projects which ive noticed orla kiely has created recently. the first is a water bottle for brita featuring a signature stem print in beautiful shades of green. called the 'wottle' you can see it online here. the second is a tea caddy specially designed for bewleys in dublin.
