FABRIC ROUND-UP

its a new week on print & pattern and i will be attempting to finally finish up the last of my new york snaps with the fab stationery shop 'paper presentation', kinokuniya, papyrus, and a few more. plus i have been browsing in habitat, london, and visited an amazing design studio in hampshire. first up today though are some fabrics that have caught my eye lately starting with this bold 'apples & pears' design spotted at scissors happy on etsy. not sure who its buy but i wonder if its part of a set?. followed below some of my fave new arrivals at volksfaden - summer daisy from alexander henry and a series from keiki for moda seen here.

K two are a young and vibrant stationery company based in edinburgh, scotland. they specialise in organisers such as wedding planners and address books as well as memory keeping baby books and stylish notebooks. K two also have a of vacancy for a design manager at the moment details of which can be seen here on the jobs board. DESIGNER - helen steel

helen steel is a scottish designer now based in london who creates original, handmade gifts and accessories such as tea towels, purses and cushions. helen's designs are based on her drawings and sketches, which are translated onto fabric using stitch, print and appliqué. helen will be exhibiting along with a diverse selection of contemporary UK designer-makers at the dulwich craft and design fair this saturday (26th June) at st barnabas village hall, dulwich village, london, SE21.

DESIGNER - chloe taylor

chloe taylor is a freelance graphic and print designer who has worked for caroline gardner and sold prints to paperchase, although her main line of work is designing prints for fashion, for which chloe is represented by the lemon ribbon studio. her prints blend hand drawing and painting with mixed media, photos and digital techniques to achieve a distinctive finished result. you can contact chloe about freelance work and see more from her fab portfolio online here.
