i cant seem to get enough of floral prints at the moment which have a 1950's flavour. these beautifully graphic stylised flowers are from london based etsy designer jessica - aka the polka street studio.
after my post yesterday on alexander girard i heard from kelly hyatt at lagom who has created a licensed set of girard christmas cards. he didnt have enough time to supply them to stores for this year but has produced a limited run for sale online here.
black friday is obviously a very important day in the US calendar - when many americans like to shop in the stores and online. i once spent a black friday in san francisco and could not believe the amount of shoppers on the streets in one day. in true black friday tradition the rag and bone bindery who specialise in fabric covered books and albums will be having an online sale of 25% off everything from friday november 26th to monday 29th.
im still looking at christmas design here on print & pattern in the run up to the big day and what better inspiration could there be than these classics from alexander girard. the wooden nativity set is produced by house industries who specialise in designs from girard and eames. here are my fave picks below from their wonderful shop.
we come bang up to date now with this selection of lovely christmas cards spotted on the UK high street in WH smith. their 2010 selection has something for everyone from cute to classy. these are the ones that caught my eye.
