just kids ltd is a design studio run by father/daughter team kate ferguson and peter freeman. based in sheffield in the UK kate and peter use to design for all markets but soon they had built up such a reputation for their childrens designs they decided to specialise and renamed the studio just kids ltd. here are few samples from their portfolio....
did you see these beautiful christmas matchboxes by draw pilgrim recently?. pilgrim made them into an advent calendar and sold a printable download of all 24 designs in her etsy shop. talking of which she also has a wonderful selection of new prints available from februrary 2012.
designer natalie milani has introduced a new series of prints to her design state shop featuring cute parisian streets. they can be personalised for girls or boys and can be found here.
i dont normally plug my own work here on print & pattern but seeing as its my very last week of blogging for the year i thought it would be ok to mention this limited edition giclee print i have created with my wonderful publishers laurence king. they are currently working with their various authors on producing complimentary items to accompany their books such as art prints and stationery goods. my print features my favourite design motif, an apple, in a colourful folky scandinavian style pattern. the giclee print is really superb quality on 350 gsm museum etching fine art paper by hahnemuhle (gorgeous) and measures 290mm x 390 mm. they are all signed and limited to 100 prints. available here from laurence king publishing.
this week i also have some last minute christmas cards to post including these by tracy petrie of paper & inc. tracie is based in fife in scotland where she creates personalised christmas cards, wedding invitations and more.

la-la label is a colourful graphic print focused illustration label which was recently founded by swedish design duo katarina lernmark and therese laurin. they have been friends since design school and are now based in stockholm. the girls describe their products as "pretty much things we want ourselves". their style is minimalistic and childish and they love screenprinting. recent designs include these christmas cards, poster, and wooden gift tags.
