CARDS & WRAP - katie leamon

My second Conran Shop discovery was Katie Leamon after seeing her neon and kraft cards lined up on the card department shelf. Based in London this luxury card & stationery brand uses Katie's love of typography and illustration to produce timeless designs. The products are predominantly hand printed using individual polymer rubber stamps and besides the Conran Shop can also be found in stockists such as Anthropologie and Selfridges. And finally today here are a few store snaps from my flying visit to the Conran Shop. I loved the children's transport bedlinen and novelty cushions. A few children's books also caught my eye for their fab illustration, along with sweet patterns on bags by Petit Pan.

Make it in Design Summer School 2015

Back by popular demand the Make it in Design Summer School is running again this July to fill their students summer with creativity, inspiration and fun. We are lucky enough today to view a selection of works by students from the 2014 course and if you fancy a go this year here are some more details..
Delivered on-line over four weeks from July 6 – 31, there are three tracks available (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced) and you can sign up for multiple tracks if you wish. Summer School is an ideal opportunity to experience working to a design brief, grow your portfolio, connect with other designers around the world, stretch yourself as a designer and even get your work published.

Each Summer School track includes:

 Two creative design briefs - inspired by real 2016 trends predicted by WGSN and two fun design challenges - offering fantastic experience of working to a brief and with key trends for the year ahead
