Staying down under we have another cool Australian label to showcase now : Aura by Tracie Ellis. Founded in 2000 Aura is a Melbourne-based design house, creating contemporary bed linen & homewares. The designs are modern, colourful and geometric. Tracie describes their style as a little bit Scandinavian, a little bit Indian and a whole lot of Melbourne. Today on Print & Pattern we have a celebration of the Australian company Adairs. Their bedding designs for children are modern and fun with bright colours and quirky designs. The 'After the Rain' collection caught my eye the most with it's reversible quilt cover where you can have clouds one day and rainbows the next. There are so many fab designs featuring interesting prints, typography and extra touches like neon trims. I had fun choosing from their children's collection for this post and found patterns suitable for little ones, teens, and the young at heart. More Adairs tomorrow as there were so many nice ones and I'll also pick out some more grown up designs.
