NEW WORK - the printed peanut

There has been all kinds of new from The Printed Peanut this winter. The big news being that Louise Lockhart has collaborated with Duchess China 1888 to launch a ceramic range. Each piece is made and decorated in Stoke-on-Trent and the designs were created first as papercuts and then faithfully reproduced as an artwork for printing onto china. They were inspired by being out walking and spotting all the flora and fauna, with ducks, dogs, and deer. There is also a new Christmas card decoration and baubles, collabs on patches and papergoods, and art for babies!

You can see all the latest Printed Peanut news on Instagram and shop all the products here.

These fun iron-on patches are available from The Printed Peanut and as part of a collaboration with Patchy Tiger they are also available on custom denim jackets.
And finally from The Printed Peanut Louise created these risograph prints for nursery wall art after she found her own baby loved to look at other babies faces.

BOOK COVERS / GRAPHICS - here design

I was in Waterstones bookshop just before the lockdown and saw this new book cover from Ottolenghi. It has been called the 'Amazing technicolour onion' by the studio that created it. There have been quite a few striking graphic cookbooks over the last few years so I decided to take a look and see who was behind some of them. So today for our Friday eye candy we have a selection of graphics by Here Design, a London based studio who have made an art form out of cookbooks and food packaging.
