My recent research on packaging design led me to stumble on Seven Yays, a gift company who like me love geometric prints. Created by Andrew and Charlotte Staal Seven Yays sell advent calendar boxes for birthdays, anniversaries, or  just whenever you want to give a gift. In this next post boxes of safety matches become mini works of art thanks to Archivist Gallery. They worked with artists such as Charlotte Farmer (above and below) as well as Pressink, Real Fun Wow!, and Ariane Butto.

PACKAGING - chocolate etc.

I love to look at packaging design and of course this is an area for pattern designers to work in. Interesting packaging often involves illustration, decorative type or repeat patterns so it is always worth a look. I loved the bold lettering and lovely colours on this chocolate packaging seen at Oliver Bonas.

Proving that chocolate packaging is a great canvas for art Coco collaborate with interesting artists to produce the most striking designs. 

Sticking with chocolate there are also lovely designs to see over at The Chocolate Society...

Also catching my eye this week pretty patterns on a pot plant box at TK Maxx.
